1. How long have you been working with Perigord?
I’m working with Perigord for 2 years and 3 months, although I haven’t been working with Perigord that long, management and colleagues always make me feel like I am part of the team. It’s been really refreshing and a pleasure to work with Perigord.

2. What were your first impressions of the company?
The first impression of Perigord was that it was well organized and everyone in the office was very welcoming..

3. What is your role at Perigord?
I work as a Project coordinator.

a. What does a typical day look like for you?
My day starts with organising tasks which need to be completed by the technical department. I then coordinate jobs for the artwork department to ensure we are meeting our customers deadlines.

I also correspond with our clients directly through calls or email to resolve any artwork issues which may arise and also ensure there are no problems with uploading artwork. Liaising between the artwork department and our customers daily is a unique learning opportunity.

4. What do you like most about your job?
I like that my role plays an important part within Perigord. For me no two days are the same. The unique nature and importance of my role in the artwork process encourages me to learn new things daily.

a. What is your proudest moment so far at Perigord?
In my personal experience, Perigord is a company where your skill set and ideas are respected. Occasionally I’ve received recognition for my contributions from my managers and team members, which really made me feel appreciated within in my team.
The support and encouragement from management is overwhelming and has helped me to grow individually.

5. What three words would you use to describe your role?
Organised, unique and challenging.

6. Covid-19 is a global pandemic and has resulted in a change to all of our personal and professional lives. What has been the biggest challenge for you? What are you most looking forward to once it is over?
The situation we are currently faced with globally is not one which anyone wanted. I hope everyone is safe at home with their families.
It is an unorthodox way of working, which I found difficult to adjust to and starting my day was hard for me. Organising and dealing the my teams work and ensuring customer’s needs are met is the most challenging aspect for me.

Personally on a positive note it has given me a break, a good break in a busy life. It’s kind of a reset for us all.

I hope this pandemic leaves this world soon and we can all live in peace. Once we all get back to normal, I want to see people settling into their normal lives with peace and prosperity.
