1. How long have you been working with Perigord?
It’s been over 2 years since I started working with Perigord.

While my time with Perigord sounds brief, I feel like I have been working for a long time with Perigord.

2. What were your first impressions of the company?
My impression of Perigord started at my interview.
The whole interview process made it clear to me that there would be a steep learning curve ahead of me once I commenced my role.

The Management in Perigord assured me from the beginning that the working environment would be a supportive and encouraging one, where I would be working with great people.

Overall, my first impression of Perigord was wonderful and fantastic.

3. What is your role at Perigord?
My current title is Lead-Build & Release.

My responsibilities range from administering Version Control, to deploying the application in Test and Production environments and undertaking customer upgrade projects.

Needless to say all of these activities can’t be done without working closely with the cross-functional teams.

4. What does a typical day look like for you?
My day usually begins by verifying the nightly builds that are deployed in our test environments (with a cup of coffee of course!)

Every-day is different for me in Perigord. I work on various customer implementation projects, as well as automating release related activities.

All in all, my typical day ends having learned a lot.

5. What do you like most about your job?
Software Development Life Cycle and Software Implementation at Perigord begins and ends with the release team.
