I'm delighted to say that I’ve been with Perigord 3 years and 7 months now. It still feels like day one, it’s been an amazing journey so far.

The first thing that caught my mind when I stepped in, was how organised the working environment was. 

My job role at Perigord is Assistant Team Lead. I manage a team of artworkers and coordinators.

I plan my tasks for the day in advance, keeping time management in place. Then I assign work to the artworkers and make sure they are delivered on time. I interact with clients everyday through calls and emails regarding job queries and urgent requests. 

What I like most about my job is Perigord focuses on results. Work is always exciting in the office which gives me an opportunity to learn something new every day. My job provides me a chance to purposely use what I’ve learned. I enjoy the sincere appreciation I receive not only from my supervisor, but also the people I work with. A heartfelt "thanks", goes a long way to improving my attitude and productivity.  

Employee recognition is a problem in the modern workforce. However, at Perigord it is completely different. As I have always been appreciated and rewarded for my hard work. ‘‘Thank you’’ is just a small word to give back to Perigord.

Work Assignment, On-Time Delivery and Reporting.

I previously felt that I didn’t really get to spend too much quality time with my son. This pandemic has really helped me with that in a positive way, now that I can work from home and spend time with him. The first thing I will do after the lockdown is over, would be to visit my parents. It's very depressing to hear about the damage this pandemic has caused people. I hope everything gets back to normal soon by god's grace.

I am not a big fan of Podcasts, however, a few I listen which many would know of are Crime Junkie and The Daily. My top 3 novels would be Silent Patient, The Da Vinci Code, Woman in the window and I love reading thriller novels.

The love of driving will never die for me. I always like to go for long drives in my car. Hobbies include, watching a lot of political programming and I love to experiment with cooking.

I have always admired Kobe Bryant. He is my favorite Basketball player. I support the Los Angeles Lakers team. Unfortunately, although he isn’t here with us anymore, my love for the sport will never change.

I prefer watching comedy shows. One of my favorite TV shows would be Young Sheldon. I desperately wait for every Friday to enjoy the new episode.
