Amy Crocker

Artwork Development and Process Consultant
Perigord Connecticut, U.S.

1. How long have you been working with Perigord?
Just over 7.5 years.

2. What is your role at Perigord?
Mainly new customer artwork development and Process Consultant – but I wear many hats!

3. How would you describe your role here in Perigord?
Since I do a little bit of everything – artwork development, process development, onboarding new customers, project management, artwork, QA, etc – my tasks change daily. It can definitely be challenging at times, but can also be very rewarding!

4. What is your proudest accomplishment?
Many accomplishments. A couple stand out in my mind. My hard work was recognized by my colleagues in 2016, and I was awarded during a global company meeting. Also, building relationships with new customers and gaining their trust to provide them with quality artwork and documentation.

5. COVID 19 has meant significant change to the way we live. What has been the biggest challenge for you during this pandemic? Have you taken up any new hobbies or interests?
Biggest challenge has been balancing work and mom-life more-so than before! No new hobbies or interests, but I try to get outside and walk with my daughter as much as I can!

6. What is the one thing you are most looking forward to once this pandemic has ended?
Going to a wedding that had to be rescheduled.

7. Is there something which you have seen recently, that made you smile?
My daughter makes me smile every day. But she is learning and exploring everything, whether there’s a pandemic or not!

8. Can you tell us a little about where you live? Did you grow up here?
I live in a waterfront town in Connecticut, USA. Born and raised here! We used to experience all the seasons equally, but the weather has changed a lot over the years. But it is just lovely here in the summer. My family and I love to do anything on or by the water! I couldn’t imagine ever living anywhere without an ocean or a lake.

9. What was the last movie you went to? What did you think?
Really had to think on this one - it was so long ago! The Mule. It was good, love Clint Eastwood.

10. Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?
Chapstick.

11. What was the last book you read?
Besides children’s books, I don’t really like to read books. I do like to listen to audio books. I think the last one was Next Level Basic by Stassi Schroeder.
