Happy International Women’s Day!

When I started in 2013, I had no idea I’d be where I am today. I began my journey with Perigord working on various commercial accounts, and became the self-titled “guinea pig” when the US got involved with the pharmaceutical sector. I learned all the tips and tricks and health authority guidelines. 

I was also given the opportunity to spend two weeks to travel to Dublin, Perigord HQ and learn from my colleagues there. It was a lot of information to take in and it was completely new to me! My career at Perigord and the pharmaceutical industry blossomed from there. I spent time as an artworker, from there a QA and a Team Lead, these roles helped me move into the position I am in  today of  ‘Key Account Manager’ for US accounts. 

I have also had opportunities to learn from and work with one of the best in the business for pharma consultants and work as an onsite liaison with a long time customer. Perigord is a  fantastic company and management have always supported me, in the future I know anything is possible and I look forward to my journey ahead!

Happy International Women’s Day Everyone!  

My journey with Perigord began in 2011 when I joined the company as a Software Test Engineer. In the beginning, my focus was on preventing quality issues with developing GLAMS (this is our Global Labelling Artwork Managing System) platform. It was challenging and exciting to work on something that was developing and growing so quickly and because it’s a pharmaceutical application modelling complex business workflows, there was very little margin for error, as any problems with the site could have serious implications for our clients or their customers. 

My dedication and analytical skills as a tester were appreciated and I was encouraged by management to apply my technical knowledge, learn more about the business domain Perigord works in and became a Business Analyst. My technical knowledge of the GLAMS Artwork Management System and other integrated systems helped me grow in the role of Business Analyst with my responsibilities offering guidance on best practice for the industry, understanding requirements, and configuring sites. 

I have always been encouraged to share my insights and observations from working with a variety of different organisations and my inputs have helped steer the development of the platform to include new features, as well as enhancing and improving the existing ones. 

As my career has developed in Perigord, I have trained and supported a new generation of Business Analysts and my strong knowledge of Perigord's GLAMS system, both from the technical and business standpoints, opened the door for my current position which is Configuration Manager. 

I am very glad to be part of Perigord, a company which has always supported women's empowerment.

Hi Everyone and Happy International Women's Day 2022! 

My name is Dorota Cynkier and my journey with this fantastic, diverse, multicultural company began seven years ago. I remember how scared I was on my first day but I had no reason to be anxious.  I found myself working among great people from all over the world including Ireland, India, the United States, Germany, and many other countries. 

I started as a Quality Control Specialist within one of the Perigord teams. I was fortunate to have a great Team Leader who constantly motivated me. I could always count on her support, she inspired me and encouraged me, and after a short period of time, I was promoted to the Quality and Validation Associate. This opportunity allowed me to grow professionally. 

My current role is Validation and Quality Specialist and this brings new challenges daily, I am constantly expanding my knowledge and developing new skills. 

I am enjoying my journey with Perigord and I look forward to the future. I collaborate daily with the Project Managers and the Business Analysts to help them implement Perigord’s software as a service offering to regulated Life Science organisations. I also work across the company providing direction on processes and procedures, including supporting Perigord IT and our internal change management processes.

Hi Everyone, I am Vishala Mettu. Today is a joyful day to share our gratitude towards our female colleagues on this occasion, International Women’s Day, and celebrate women in Perigord! 

I have been extremely fortunate over the last 6+ years to witness so much growth in Perigord. I joined Perigord as a fresher, and many of the female leaders were my inspiration to work hard and achieve more, which paved the way for me to go on to manage teams and progress as opportunities presented themselves. 

There is no limit for success for Women in Perigord, with good opportunities for career progression. I, for one, am glad that we get this honour where women’s hard work is celebrated and recognised on the special occasion of International Women’s Day.

Career progression is important to me and is essentially an employee’s workplace journey. It encompasses all the steps one takes in their career to improve. Some workers know the exact job titles they want, but for most, the future isn’t so clear. In fact, career development is an important part of a job offer, and that includes more than just promotions and pay raises, but to gain more industry knowledge and expand their skills to feel fulfilled in their work. 

I feel privileged to be associated with Perigord for the past three and half years. I joined as an associate and earned the utmost respect and was given opportunities to cross-train and attend skill-based training to enhance my performance. Perigord has good values and recognition structures which has helped my career progression, it is a really great place to work.

Since joining Perigord Life Science Solutions, I have come to know it as a forward thinking and modern company where women can progress. The wishes of my professional development has always been constructively and gratefully  received and strived for as a common goal. 

Personal changes were also taken into account, which today enables me to continue working in an area that gives me great pleasure. During my time at Perigord, I have been able to work in a wide variety of fields and to profitably contribute and deepen my knowledge. The broad experience I have gained through the various tasks within the company have strengthened me in my professional and personal development. 

Perigord Life Science Solutions offers me further training measures that support and encourage me in my daily work. The working environment is very pleasant, and I have great colleagues here who I appreciate very much. 

The interaction with our senior leadership is also very friendly and at eye level. I am very happy to be a part of Perigord. I look to the future with optimism and joy and I am very grateful to have found a fulfilling job with an employer who takes an interest in their employee's journey.
