5 Years 9 months according to LinkedIn!
2. What is your role at Perigord?
IT System Administrator
3. How would you describe your role here in Perigord?
Every day brings new challenges in Perigord. I just do the best I can with a smile.
4. What is your proudest accomplishment?
Moving to Ireland and then the rest is history.
5. Can you tell us a little about where you live?
I currently live in a quiet and peaceful village in Co. Meath, Ireland with my lovely wife and my two beautiful children.
I grew up in a beautiful coastal village called Souillac in the South of Mauritius, which is well known for its big waves, cliffs and exotic beaches.
6. With COVID restrictions being eased further, have you any staycations planned over the coming months?
We have some plans for a staycation already. We are just waiting for the right moment.
7. What’s your favourite sport to watch and which team do you support?
Basketball! Chicago bulls’ teams in the 90’s was the only reason I started playing basketball. I do not have the height for it, but I am pretty good at it. If you do not believe me, grab a ball and let’s do a one on one.
8. Is there something which you have seen recently, that made you smile?
I usually smile the whole day. Working from home allows me to do both with my family but seeing my son crawling for his first time was the best.
9. What are your top 3 Podcasts/Books?
I don’t listen to podcasts or read, at least not often. The only book I read was ‘Born a Crime’, by Trevor Noah last year, because he talks about the truth about performing as a stand-up comedian. Funny but true.
10. Do you have any interests or hobbies?
Well playing Basketball and Deejaying (Music) are my main interests. But I do have few more.
11. What’s your favourite TV show—the one you’re always watching on repeat?
Here are the lyrics, to the theme tune, to one of my on-repeat favourite tv shows. I will let you all guess what it is…
‘Now this is the story all about how,
My life got flipped-turned upside down,
And I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there,
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel Air’.
