Business Development Manager (NBD) Creative and Digital Services – Ireland and UK

The Role

Our creative and digital services team deliver: B2B, B2C, B2E Market Research, customer identification, campaign strategy and management, creative initiation and management of both offline and online collateral.
We are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (NBD) focusing on new customer acquisition to our creative and digital asset division.
Reporting to the Head of Creative Services the Business Development Manager will work on establishing and building strong relationships with new customers, smoothly onboarding new clients, driving revenue and ensuring the clients return again and again. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and bring new customers to the business
  • Working internally with other senior business managers to generate new business
  • Maximise and deliver margin-based revenue 
  • Taking a lead in client onboarding and early stage project delivery
  • Lead a team to provide the best in class client service
  • Liaising with clients at senior level on an ongoing basis 
  • Ability to influence clients and the business unit creatively and strategically
  • Interpreting information correctly and creating accurate and thorough briefs for the Creative team

Required experience and skills

  • Significant experience in professional client relationship creation 
  • A strong background in communications, design, marketing and print/media delivery
  • Life Science experience an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Class leading and engaging presentation style 
  • Ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
  • A confident and persuasive approach 
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques, including digital platforms
  • Effective team management capabilities 
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints 
  • Experience of creative project management
  • A design background or experience working within a design environment
  • Technical knowledge of print and packaging an advantage
